Meet the Team

Amber Fender, LISW-CP/S
Owner, CEO

Amber’s ultimate passion is teaching people how to become more self-aware and grow into who they want to be. As a cancer survivor, Amber was inspired to help others navigate through difficult life transitions.

After graduating from University of Southern California with a Master’s in Social Work, she spent over seven years in public service with hospice patients and their families as well as survivors of crime.

Amber is trained in EMDR, CBT and Emotion Focused Therapy for a non-judgmental, strength-based approach to honor past and future paths. I specialize in trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship/communication struggles. I provide EMDR for adults and children 6 years and older.

Like the Zen proverb, I believe "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear." I know it's challenging to start a new path with a brand new therapist, but please know that if you're waiting for something to change to live a joyful life, you're waiting too long. Take this chance to provide yourself with the balm you need to heal and grow.
